On the Podgorica panoramic walking tour, you will visit the most important historical and cultural parts of Podgorica. Your tour guide will first take you on the walking tour between the new and the old part of the town where you will get to see the old Ottoman town remains, Old Town Ribnica’s remains, the place where Podgorica’s two rivers meet, and the city’s famous parks, bridges and institutions. At this point of the tour, you will be transported by car to the best vantage point in all of Podgorica on top of a hill. From here, you will be able to see all of Podgorica, and its valley, surrounded by the high hills and mountains. About Podgorica

Podgorica is the capital of Montenegro, a compact city of bridges, rivers and Ottoman quarters, close to Lake Skadar and the mountains.

Podgorica stands on a plain where the Morača and Ribnica rivers meet, ringed by mountains, and it is the political and commercial capital of Montenegro. Much of the city was rebuilt after the Second World War, and it was called Titograd from 1946 to 1992. The old Ottoman quarter, Stara Varoš, keeps a clock tower and a small mosque, the Millennium Bridge crosses the Morača, and the large Orthodox Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ is one of the city's best-known buildings.
