行程
From the exterior of this striking waterfront estate, we explore the life and wealth of Robert “King” Hooper, one of Marblehead’s most powerful merchants, whose success shaped the harbor economy and the town’s social hierarchy.
From the exterior of this striking 18th-century mansion, we explore the life and mysterious death of Jeremiah Lee — a merchant whose final days tied Marblehead directly to the events of April 1775 and left behind questions that still invite discussion.
We explore this 17th-century burial ground overlooking the harbor, where witches, Revolutionary figures, sea captains, and generations of Marblehead families are laid to rest — each with stories that shaped the town.
Overlooking the harbor, this fortified site connects to smallpox unrest, coastal defense, and a town shaped by war, fear, and resilience.
