1. We will travel for an hour in which we can see the variation of colors of the desert landscape. We will arrive at the entrance of the hidden lagoons of Baltinache, where we can use the bathrooms before continuing the tour. We will follow the path that will take us through the five lagoons that make up this wonderful landscape, of which only the first and last can be used for swimming. Due to the amount of salt they contain, you can experience the flotation effect similar to that of the Dead Sea. After having known this attraction in the middle of the Atacama desert, we will begin our return, passing through the entrance facilities to use the bathrooms and take advantage of the showers, in order to remove the salt from the lagoons. On the way back, we will see the sunset in the desert before reaching the center of San Pedro de Atacama.

About San Pedro de Atacama

San Pedro de Atacama is an adobe oasis town in northern Chile, ringed by salt flats, volcanoes, geysers and some of the driest desert on earth.

San Pedro de Atacama is a village of low whitewashed adobe houses and dusty streets in an oasis of the Atacama Desert, at about 2,400 metres. Its adobe church goes back to the 17th century and has a roof of cactus wood, and the small Museo Arqueológico Gustavo Le Paige displays mummies and pottery from the desert's early peoples. The cone of Licancabur volcano stands over the town to the east.
