This indispensable route guided by a professional guide will take you to the most iconic places in Madrid, where history and present go hand in hand. You will start the route from the famous Prado National Museum, immersed in the "Paseo del Prado", an ancient garden where you will admire some famous monuments like the Neptune fountain. Then, you will walk through the streets of the city to know the history of the Romantic Madrid of the 19th century and some famous neighborhoods like the Letters quarter or the Austrias quarter. You will continue the tour visiting the Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor squares, as well as the old city hall and some old churches such as the Almudena Cathedral, the most important religious building of Madrid. The guided tour will end at the Royal Palace, official residence of the Kings of Spain. A minimum of 4 people is required for the tour to operate.

Your next stop will be the building where the Congress of Deputies is located, the headquarter of one of the two Chambers of the Spanish General Courts.

Than you will know Plaza Mayor, one of the most famous squares of the city, and the heart of the so called Austrias neighborhood.
You will continue your tour walking through the oldest corners of Madrid and small streets full of history, where you will see the Plaza de la Villa, that was the center of the Medieval period of the city.
You will see also the Almudena Cathedral, the most important religious building of Madrid.
Finally, you will end the guided tour at the Royal Palace, the largest in western europe.
