行程
As we passed by your beautiful and busy riverwalk, we will talk about not only the history of the locations but also the dark side of the history with mass murders and tragic deaths.
Off the to the south side of the river we will see the site where the first American settlement, Ft Dearborn, once stood.
Off the North side of the river we will see the site where our Founding Father, Jean Baptiste Point Du Sable's, cottage once was.
Though it now goes by its street address, 875 N Michigan Ave, we locals still call it the John Hancock. By the Chicago Locks we will have a few glimpses our fifth tallest building in Chicago and learn of the curse that surrounds the lands it stands on today.
This was the site where the 1871 Great Chicago Fire started.
This is the sight were over 800 people perished in what is considered "The Largest Maritime Disaster" on all of the Great Lakes.
Have you heard the curse behind the architecture of this building?

About Chicago
Chicago is a Great Lakes city on Lake Michigan, famed for skyscraper architecture, deep-dish pizza, blues and jazz and a long lakefront of parks.
Chicago rebuilt itself after the fire of 1871 and became the cradle of the skyscraper. The Chicago River runs through the Loop, where tall towers rise, and boat tours explain the architecture from the water. Millennium Park's mirrored Cloud Gate sculpture, known as the Bean, and the Art Institute of Chicago, with its Impressionist paintings, are close together. Willis Tower has a glass-floored observation deck.
Top-ranked sights in Chicago: Navy Pier, Wrigley Building, The Magnificent Mile.
