About Auckland
Auckland, New Zealands største by, brer seg over en landtange mellom to havner, prikket med vulkankjegler, strender og øyfylte bukter.
Sky Tower reiser seg over sentrum og sjøfronten, der Viaduct Harbour og Wynyard Quarter er kantet av restauranter og lystbåter, noe som passer Aucklands kallenavn, Seilernes by. Mount Eden og One Tree Hill, to av de mange vulkankjeglene spredt over byen, gir panoramautsikt.
Top-ranked sights in Auckland: Auckland Harbour Bridge, Waiheke Island, North Head Historic Reserve (Maungauika).
