  • 5One of the best times to do trekking is in March and April you can find the track covered with snows

I went trekking to Triund with my Mexican guests. We did the trek in March. We were very lucky to find the entire trail and the trekking route covered in snow. We really enjoyed it. Any Spanish Speaking Guest can contact me to book their Itinerary for Himalayan Cities with Adventures

  • 5A steep but unique climb

This was a unique trip. While my tour guide from Norbu had suggested it to me, nothing really prepared me for the rugged, steep incline of the climb and the beautiful view at the top. The climb beyond Maggi point becomes a bit steep and it is not a bad idea to plan to stay up on top for the night. As we didn't want to stay for the night and had to climb back 6 km from the top, we could not stay at the top for long, but the trek was worth it

  • 5Tiund Trek experience with friends

The Triund Trek is one of the most popular and beginner-friendly treks in Himachal Pradesh, offering breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar mountain range and the Kangra Valley. Located near McLeod Ganj in Dharamshala, this trek is perfect for first-time trekkers as well as nature lovers seeking a short mountain escape. The trek is around 9 km one way and usually takes 4–6 hours to complete. The trail passes through dense oak and rhododendron forests, with gradual ascents and a few steep sections, especially near the final stretch. Throughout the trek, scenic viewpoints and cool mountain air keep the journey refreshing and enjoyable. The highlight of the Triund Trek is the stunning panoramic view from the top. On one side, trekkers can witness the snow-capped Dhauladhar peaks, and on the other, the lush green Kangra Valley spread below. Sunrise and sunset from Triund are truly mesmerizing and make the trek worth the effort. Camping at Triund adds to the overall experience. The night sky filled with stars, peaceful surroundings, and crisp mountain weather create unforgettable memories. Basic food and accommodation facilities are available at the top, making it convenient even for solo travelers. Overall, the Triund Trek is an excellent choice for those looking for adventure, scenic beauty, and tranquility without requiring advanced trekking skills. About Dharamsala

Dharamsala is a Himalayan hill town in Himachal Pradesh beneath the snowy Dhauladhar range, home to the Dalai Lama and a large Tibetan community.

Dharamsala climbs a forested spur of the Dhauladhar range in the Kangra valley of Himachal Pradesh. The upper town, McLeod Ganj, has been the base of the Tibetan exile community and the Dalai Lama since 1960. Its Tsuglagkhang temple complex stands near a Tibetan museum, prayer flags flutter along the lanes, and monks in maroon robes walk between monasteries, shops and cafés.
