⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely brilliant experience! This was hands down one of the highlights of our entire 18-day trip to Portugal — and easily the best money we spent on the whole vacation! From beginning to end, everything was fantastic. The location was easy to find, everything felt relaxed and well organized, and our coaches, Yara and Gustavo, were AMAZING. They were friendly, encouraging, incredibly hands-on, and really took the time to work with each of us. You could tell they genuinely wanted everyone to have a great experience, no matter their level. We were expecting rain, but somehow the weather held off just long enough for us to get out there and play — it honestly couldn't have worked out better! We laughed, learned, challenged ourselves, caught some waves, and had an absolute blast. It was one of those experiences you walk away from saying, “I’m SO glad we did that.” After 18 days travelling around Portugal, this experience stands out as one of our favourite memories of the entire trip. Thank you, Yara and Gustavo! You made the experience so much fun and truly unforgettable. We would do it again in a heartbeat. 10/10! 🏄♀️🌊

Had such a good experience and learned a lot from Gustavo. He was very knowledgeable and patient as we surfed. My technique improved while having so much fun. I look forward to my next session 🤙

It is a really good surfschool. The teachers there are really nice and I was able to improve a lot on my surfskills. I would really recommend going there

Great teacher. So much fun. Would highly recommend for beginners. It was a great workout as well 😅 managed to get up and stand on the board by the end of the lesson!

My fiancé and I had a surf lesson with Gabriel and it was absolutely amazing. I was nervous going in since it was my first time trying to surf but he was a great instructor and created such a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere! The rest of the staff at Salty Souls was also incredibly friendly and helpful. All stuff was provided which made it really easy to jump in. Thank you!! Would highly recommend!

- If you are coming from Lisbon, head to Cais do Sodré and take a beautiful train ride along the ocean. we decide were the waves are better only one or two before(when we can see the forecast): if Guincho beach,exit in Cascais, uber or bus to guincho if Carcavelos beach,exit at carcavelos station.

About Cascais
Cascais is a former fishing village on the Atlantic coast west of Lisbon, with sheltered beaches, a seafront promenade and a royal past.
Cascais lies at the mouth of the Tagus estuary, roughly thirty kilometres west of Lisbon, and began as a fishing village. King Luís I made it the royal summer residence in 1870, and the aristocracy followed, building villas and palaces along the shore. The old centre has patterned stone pavements, a marina and small beaches tucked in the bay, and the Casa das Histórias Paula Rego is a museum of that painter's work in a red building.
