5Special experience
Highly recommended tour to Sandwich Harbour. Special thanks go to our guide Winston, who drove us very safely and professionally through the dunes.

Can’t recommend enough.Communication from the tour operator 10 out of 10.Pickup perfectly planned and on time.Tour guide “Gift” was awesome with great knowledge and driving skills within the dunes park.My wife is wheelchair bound and this was not an issue at all.Got to see some great wildlife as well, with a well presented picnic in the middle of the tour.

This is one of the best experiences we have had. The views were unreal, lunch was great and ride to/from was fun. Our guide Rudy was funny, knowledgeable and accommodating. We even brought our kids and they enjoyed it. If you’re in the area, this tour is a must!

About Walvis Bay
Walvis Bay, on the Atlantic coast of Namibia, is a port town where the Namib Desert meets the sea, with a lagoon full of flamingos.
Walvis Bay is Namibia's main port, set on a sheltered bay with a lagoon where large flocks of flamingos and pelicans feed, and desert dunes begin at the edge of town. Cold water from the Benguela Current brings fog and a cool, dry climate, and rain is rare. South Africa administered the town until 1994, when it became part of Namibia.
