Egg coffee (Vietnamese: Cà phê trứng) is a Vietnamese drink which is traditionally prepared with egg yolks, sugar, condensed milk and robusta coffee and kept in a bowl of warm water. Egg coffee was first invented by Hanoian when milk was scarce in Vietnam in the late 1940s. With the unique taste, egg coffee is loved by not only the local but also the foreigner until now.
