About Lausanne
Lausanne is a hillside city on Lake Geneva, home of the Olympic movement, with a Gothic cathedral, vineyard terraces nearby and a lakeside quay at Ouchy.
Lausanne climbs steeply from the north shore of Lake Geneva, with the old town and its Gothic cathedral on the upper hill and the lakeside district of Ouchy below.
