Foz do Iguaçu is the Brazilian gateway to the Iguaçu Falls, a border city where Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay meet at the rivers.

The city stands in the far west of Paraná state, where the Iguaçu River joins the Paraná and the borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay meet. From the Brazilian side a walkway gives wide views of the whole curve and ends on a platform close to the Devil's Throat, where the water drops with great noise and mist.
