2Sadly not worth $100
It was ok, but for the price I expected more. The boat had some nice outdoor viewing decks but the indoors was dark, drab and utilitarian. The trip was so overbooked, a large group of 12-15 decided not to bother getting on and even then not everyone fitted in the indoor spaces, which was a problem given it was drizzling. The promise of a seafood buffet wasn’t really met (the photos were definitely misleading there) - there were some lovely large prawns, but the rest was a bit disappointing - halved cherry tomato’s on crackers, bits of warm cheddar, some cucumber, a meatball etc. If it was half the price I’d say it was fine - but you do expect more for $100 a ticket. I’d save the cash and do something else.
1Very poor
Did not make the cruise because the boat was small and it was raining. We could not sit or stand in the rain.
5Well worth the trip - lovely sunset cruise
You definitely get your money’s worth. Staff were friendly, helpful and fantastic. Enough room to move around & be with our group and the food was delicious. The view was amazing.
5Incredible sunset cruise experience
We had a brilliant experience, even our 3 year old loved it. The whole crew was incredible, we will be back next time we are in the area!
5Amazing!
Amazing experience. This tour was very well run. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They obviously love what they do and understood how to make the most of the experience for us. We had a perfect afternoon and sunset with many whales on show. Would thoroughly recommend this company for whale watching. They also catered well for a wheelchair.
5Sensational
Exellent experience. I will book them again and again and againnnnnn........ Great staff and a very funny captain. They provide snacks and food, which is great when you cant be bother of cooking after the trip. Drinks are purchased from the bar wich are reasonable priced. Exellent overall Aye Aye Captain

About Hervey Bay
Hervey Bay is a relaxed seaside town on Queensland's Fraser Coast, with calm water, a long pier, visiting humpback whales and ferries to Fraser Island.
Hervey Bay is a string of beach suburbs, Pialba, Scarness, Torquay and Urangan, facing a wide, sheltered bay that Fraser Island shields from the open Pacific. A paved esplanade runs for kilometres along the shore, with parks, cafés and a cycle path, and at Urangan the long timber pier reaches far out over the shallows, an old cargo wharf now used by anglers and walkers.
