5A day well spent
Excellent outstanding trip. Kirk our driver and guide was brilliant with his care and attention to all members of the group. His knowledge of KGari is brilliant and he kept us informed and entertained throughout the day. Love to do the same trip again sometime, definitely value for money and a day well spent. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the tour and Fraser Experience Tours as hosts. Excellent, excellent, excellent.

Kirk, our guide, was absolutely outstanding! His knowledge of the history and the flora and fauna of K’gari was amazing. This trip is a must, you see everything!

5Good experience
We loved our day trip to K'gari with Dave. He was very knowledgeable and helpful though out the day, giving us options where to stop for breaks. Being in a smaller group worked well for us and our 7 and 10 year old loved it too!
5Kirk was an outstanding...
Kirk was an outstanding guide on our day trip to an outstanding island. The tour was informative, engaging, and well paced. Be sure to bring swimwear and towels for a dip in Lake Mackenzie - there are changing areas at the parking lot. Those with an appetite may want to bring snacks, as the provided lunch is light (but fresh and tasty). If you choose pickup from River Heads Shopping Centre, extra mainland time on the van will be minimal. There are public toilets and a (surprisingly well-stocked) convenience store at the Shopping Centre; note that the cafe will be closed.
4Good experience
Knowledgeable guide. Small bus with no audio making g it difficult to hear the guide giving instructions. Resulted in guide being rude to some guests.

About Fraser Island
Fraser Island, also called K'gari, is the largest sand island in the world, with rainforest, clear freshwater lakes and a long beach that serves as a road.
Fraser Island, or K'gari, is a World Heritage island off the Queensland coast, about 120 kilometres long and made entirely of sand. Rainforest grows tall on the dunes, and around a hundred freshwater lakes lie among them, including Lake McKenzie, whose white silica shores and clear blue water are the island's best-known sight. There are no sealed roads, only sand tracks that link the lakes, creeks and settlements.
