Discover one of the most spectacular corners of Mallorca with this excursion to Formentor, a natural paradise of turquoise waters and breathtaking landscapes. Enjoy scenic drives, free time on Formentor Beach and a boat ride along Pollença Bay. Depending on your accommodation area, you can choose between two options: Half day (northern area): Pick up at Puerto de Pollença, Puerto de Alcudia or Can Picafort. 5Tremendous views from a Magnificent location
A must visit castle being one of the few round castles in Europe.. Take circular sightsee bus get off at stop 9. Impressively constructed and wonderful views from the top. Only a few euros fee for entrance. If you’re having a picnic day out this is the spot to have it. Cafe closed on my visit. Not the hassle like at the cathedral.
Mallorca is the largest of Spain's Balearic Islands, with a Gothic cathedral in Palma, a rugged north-west mountain range and coves of clear water.
Mallorca lies in the western Mediterranean, an island of limestone mountains, almond and olive groves and a long, indented coast. Palma, the capital, is dominated by La Seu, a Gothic cathedral that rises over the bay, and by the Almudaina Palace beside it; the circular Bellver Castle looks down from a forested hill. The old town has quiet courtyards, boutiques and tapas bars.
Top-ranked sights in Mallorca: Palma Cathedral (La Seu), Sóller , Royal Palace of La Almudaina (Palau de l’Almudaina).
