Høydepunkter
This is one of the most popular mountain day trips from Tashkent, combining three destinations in one unforgettable day: Amirsoy, Chimgan, and Charvak Lake. Ride a modern cable car up to Amirsoy's 2,099m summit for sweeping views of the Western Tian Shan range, then continue to the historic Chimgan area — a favorite mountain escape since Soviet times, with optional horse riding and ATV rides available on-site. The day ends at turquoise Charvak Lake, where you can relax lakeside, swim, or add on a boat ride or jet ski. Chimgan is a year-round destination: green meadows in spring and summer, colorful foliage in autumn, and snow-covered peaks in winter — with Amirsoy transforming into a full ski resort during the cold months. This tour is ideal for travelers who want to experience Uzbekistan beyond its Silk Road cities: mountain air, panoramic views, and a full day away from the city.

5Brilliant excursion, amazing guide!
Brilliant experience visiting Armisoy, Chimgan and Charvak. Our guide Bek absolutely made the trip, he was super friendly, funny & very informative. He taught us loads, not only about the places we visited, but about Uzbekistan as a country. We were picked up from our hotel by car and taken to the minibus where we started the day trip. It’s a full day excursion lasting about 8 hours. At the first stop you take 2 cablecars to the top of the mountain where you can grab coffee, go for a walk and enjoy the amazing views. At the second stop there is an option to take a chairlift to the top of that mountain which is definitely worth it for the views although not for the faint hearted. We paid £30pp for the excursion and the cablecars & chairlift had an additional fee (~285K som pp total). There were 2 minibuses in our group approximately 20pax.

The tour was really enjoyable from start to finish and the guide made it an even better experience.
5Incredible value for money.
My favourite tour of the 4 stans. It had everything I wanted and was so relaxed and beautiful scenery. Bek made the day extra special for my wife as it was her birthday. The driver was very safe no dangerous overtaking. Bek succeeded in making everybody’s experience the best he could.

About Tashkent
Tashkent is the capital of Uzbekistan, an ancient Silk Road city of wide Soviet-era avenues, decorated metro stations, old madrasas and big bazaars.
Tashkent has been a trading city on the Silk Road for over two thousand years, but a major earthquake in 1966 destroyed much of it, and the modern capital was rebuilt with broad avenues, big squares and Soviet-era buildings. The old city, Eski Shahar, survives in pockets, with narrow lanes and mud-brick houses. The Khast Imam complex has madrasas and mosques, and its library holds the Uthman Quran, one of the oldest copies of the Quran.
Top-ranked sights in Tashkent: Uzbekistan State Museum of Applied Art, Broadway Alley.
