Estate Argyros was established in 1903, but the Argyros family had been involved in winemaking for decades before that. From the beginning, the focus has been on winemaking and vine cultivation through a deep understanding that great grapes are always a prerequisite for great wines. Each generation has contributed to developing Estate Argyros wines on both fronts.
Artemis Karamolegos Winery combines extraordinary respect for Santorini's winemaking traditions with a modern outlook and constant investment in our vineyards and winemaking equipment. This makes it one of the most dynamic and fastest growing in Santorini. He has already won many prestigious awards in both domestic and international competitions.

The Saronic Gulf Islands are a group of Greek islands near Athens, among them Aegina, Hydra, Poros and Spetses, linked by short ferry rides.
The Saronic Gulf Islands lie in the sea between Athens and the Peloponnese, close enough to be reached from Piraeus by ferry or hydrofoil. Aegina, the nearest large island, has the Temple of Aphaia, a Doric temple set among pines, and a harbour town of fishing boats and pistachio sellers. Hydra, where cars are not used, is a rocky island of stone mansions built by sea captains, with donkeys and water taxis doing the carrying.
