About Zhuhai

Zhuhai is a coastal city in southern Guangdong that borders Macau, known for its seafront roads and the biennial aviation airshow it hosts.

Zhuhai was one of China's first special economic zones, opened in 1980, and its compact centre has broad avenues and newer towers. The city faces the South China Sea across the Pearl River estuary, and Lovers' Road, a seafront promenade, runs along the shore with views over the water and islands, past the statue of the Fisher Girl that serves as the city's emblem.
