Boarding opposite Blackpool Tower, our open top bus tour will take you around the 6-mile display getting you and close to these famous light features. There's more than a million bulbs that light up the Promenade displays that have been a feature of Blackpool since 1879. The tour lasts between 1.5 to 2hrs depending on traffic conditions and will return you to the starting point at the base of Blackpool's iconic Tower.

About Blackpool

Blackpool is Britain's classic seaside resort on the Lancashire coast, with a tower, three piers, a long promenade and a funfair on the shore.

Blackpool grew from a small village into a holiday town after the railway arrived in the nineteenth century, drawing mill workers from the cotton towns of Lancashire. Blackpool Tower, opened in 1894 and inspired by the Eiffel Tower, rises over the promenade, with a ballroom and a circus at its base. Three piers, the North, Central and South, reach into the Irish Sea.
