1. Leaving the city of Ushuaia, take RN 3 towards the winter centers area. You descend in one of the centers, to equip yourself properly and thus begin the walk to the area where the beavers live. The area is the ideal habitat for these friendly animals and we will have the possibility of touring several castoreras with the security of seeing them in their wildest state. Along the way, you will be able to observe several active castoreras, where, if you keep silent, you can see these animals with twilight habits, while knowing their history and their impact on these lands. After the sighting, you return to the refuge where you will be waiting for an exquisite dinner and later return to the hotel.

About Ushuaia

Ushuaia, on the Beagle Channel in Tierra del Fuego, is often called the southernmost city in the world, a port ringed by snowy peaks.

Ushuaia sits on a narrow shelf between the Beagle Channel and the Martial mountains, in the Argentine half of Tierra del Fuego. It began as a mission and later became a penal colony, and the old prison, now a museum, tells that story alongside the maritime history of the far south. Painted houses climb the slope, and the harbour is where expedition ships leave for Antarctica.
