Beskrivelsene vises på engelsk.
This is a great tour for cruise passengers as driving time is limited and all stops are easily accessible. Marseille is the oldest city in France, and it offers great touristic attractions. In this tour we visit the main highlights and learn about the quirks and identity of this incredible place. Marseille is huge and it is a must to have the help of a local to discover it. What is best to visit is not necessarily in the centre, and to take advantage of the limited time you need both a knowledgeable person and a vehicle. Our driver/guides are the perfect people to make you discover it, and our fully air/condition vehicles perfectly adapted for the task.
Photo stop with possibility of buying biscuits at the oldest bakery of Marseille
Photo stop to admire the coastal area of Marseille, big War Monument, and example of typical Fishermen village.
Symbol of Marseille, it is also the highest point form where we can see the whole city. We will show you the different areas from the top, excellent photo opportunities and possibility to enter the basilica (unless closed for exceptional circumstances).
Stunning building built to celebrate the construction of a water canal. Inaugurated in 1969 it houses 2 museums and a nice park. We stop for photos and a walk, we don't visit the museums inside.

Marseille, France's oldest city, is a Mediterranean port of old forts, hilltop basilicas and limestone coves, and the home of bouillabaisse.
Greek sailors founded Marseille around 600 BC, making it the oldest city in France. The Vieux-Port is its centre, a long harbour ringed by cafés and the morning fish stalls, guarded by two forts at its mouth. On a hill above, the basilica of Notre-Dame de la Garde carries a gilded statue of the Virgin Mary and shows the harbour and the islands from its terrace.
Top-ranked sights in Marseille: Notre-Dame de la Garde Basilica (La Bonne Mère), Old Port of Marseille (Vieux Port), Vallon des Auffes.
