On this tour we invite you on a road of self-discovery as you discover Bhutan. Starts with the capital city of Thimphu, hiking exploration in the valleys of Thimphu and Punakha; the central valleys of Trongsa and Bumthang with some scenic hikes and finally take a domestic flight back to Paro to visit the iconic Tiger’s nest. About Thimphu

Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan, fills a high Himalayan valley with a vast gilded Buddha, a riverside dzong, monasteries and a busy weekend market.

Thimphu lies at about 2,300 metres on the Wang Chhu river in western Bhutan. Tashichho Dzong, a whitewashed fortress-monastery with golden roofs, holds government offices and the king's throne room. Buildings across the valley follow the traditional style, with painted wooden windows and sloping roofs. The Memorial Chorten, built in 1974 in memory of the third king, is a white stupa that worshippers circle all day.
