And if something catches your attention along the way, ask me. We might stop, change direction, or discover something neither of us had planned. I’m Fumie, a Japanese teacher and local guide. I was born in Osaka, now live in Tokyo, and have lived in and traveled around Japan. I don’t speak for everyone in Japan. To me, there isn’t just one Japan.
