El Cedral is a small town located in the southern part of the island of Cozumel, Mexico. Today we want to invite you to visit the Jade Cavern in Cozumel, home to more than 1,000 bats (don't be scared, they are harmless and above all beneficial for the environment) which can only be reached by entering the interior of the Island passing through irregular paths that eventually. About Cozumel
Cozumel is a flat, reef-ringed island off Mexico's Yucatán coast, famed for diving, Maya ruins and calm turquoise water on its sheltered west side.
Cozumel lies about twenty kilometres off the Yucatán coast, a short ferry ride from Playa del Carmen. The main town, San Miguel, faces the mainland with a waterfront promenade, a plaza and small museums, while most of the island is flat jungle and quiet coast. The western side, where the sea is calm, holds the beach clubs and snorkelling spots, and the wild windward east coast has rough surf and empty sand.
