The transfer of the Vulcano tour includes: Departure at 8.30am, arrival at the Sapienza refuge at 10.30am (stop of about 2 hours). Departure for Taormina - during the journey we will make a small stop of about 20 minutes for a panoramic view to Isola Bella and continue to Taormina. Return to Syracuse. About Syracuse
Syracuse is a Sicilian city on the Ionian Sea, once a great power of the Greek West, with a baroque island old town and a Greek theatre.
Founded by Greek settlers from Corinth in the eighth century BC, Syracuse became one of the most powerful cities of the ancient world, and Archimedes was born here.
