About Kasane

Kasane is a small town in northern Botswana on the Chobe River, the gateway to Chobe National Park and its large elephant herds.

Kasane stands on the south bank of the Chobe River, close to the point where Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe almost meet. The town is small and low-built, with lodges strung along the water and wooded country behind.
