Venice is one of Italy's Top cities. But very few tourists know, in addition to the historical and artistic beauties, the natural wonders that the city offers and in particular those related to its lagoon. Aboard a wooden boat with a native, you will discover the lagoon and its environment little accessible without a boat. You can observe the Arsenal, symbol of the Serenissima. Heart of the Venetian shipbuilding industry.You will observe the island of Vignole. Formerly called Biniola, or even "of the seven vineyards", you will observe the Island of Lazzaretto Nuovo. In 1468 a decree of the Senate of the Serenissima established a Lazzaretto on the island with the task of preventing infections. The island became a place of "absentia" : here the "forty" was prepared for ships arriving from the various Mediterranean ports. We will stop in a "Ghebo" and watch the sunset with its magical colors.The timetable can be changed.

the Arsenal, symbol of the history of the Serenissima. The heart of the Venetian shipbuilding industry, impressive assembly line ships were built here. Surrounded by 3 km of walls, it is considered one of the first true industrial complexes in Europe
You will observe the Island of the New Lazaret. Archaeological finds testify to human presence already in the Bronze Age. You will observe the island of Vignole. Holiday resort of the first Venetians. Formerly called Biniola, or even "of the seven vineyards", the island was a holiday destination for the inhabitants of Altino first and then Venice.
We will stop in a "Ghebo" and taste some prosecco and some appetizers, watch the sunset with its magical colors.

About Venice
Venice floats on a lagoon of more than a hundred islands, a city of canals, palaces and bridges with no cars, where every walk ends somewhere unexpected.
