Kitchen has always been the fulcrum of this home, where my family is living since more than 7 generations. I have always been fascinated by my grandmother's ability to prepare awesome dishes from Tuscan tradition, always with few, simple but precious ingredients. That cultural heritage was in danger of disappearing: I spent a lot of time cooking with her, trying to learn her recipes and secrets. In the end, I realized that she had given me a bigger gift: I had assimilated her cooking philosophy! Then, I realized that tradition is not a dusty book but a living thing able also to adapt to new conditions, and even improve. I studied ingredient's seasonality, their sustainable production systems, new cooking techniques, techniques of tasting: almost without realizing it, in the meantime, I became Chef and finally, also Sommelier. Since a lot of years, I decided to share this path: a long path that is not yet finished... Giacomo

5Great class!
This was the best class ever! We learned delicious family recipes and had some of the most tasty food of the trip. Giacamo was informative and passionate and it was a pleasure getting to learn from him. The class was small and felt very intentional with each step. I am still dreaming about the tiramisu we had for dessert, the best ever! Taking this class was a highlight of our trip and I would definitely recommend anyone to do it.
5The Most Fun Cooking class! Had the BEST time!
This cooking class was so fun. I recommend this to everyone. You wont be disappointed. And the wine pairing with each course was amazing. Didn’t like Tiramisu before class but no my husband and I love it. Thank you Giacomo and his Beautiful wife Cristiana.
5The Perfect Taste of Tuscany: Cooking, Wine & Memories 🇮🇹🍷
One of the absolute highlights of our time in Tuscany! This cooking class and wine pairing was everything we hoped an authentic Tuscan experience would be. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely immersed in the experience. Learning to prepare traditional Tuscan dishes was so much fun, but what made it truly special was learning about the ingredients, techniques, and traditions behind the food. Nothing felt rushed or overly touristy. It felt genuine, relaxed, and very Tuscan. The wine pairing took the experience to another level. Each wine was thoughtfully paired with the food we prepared, and we loved learning why the different wines worked so well with each course. Sitting down afterward to enjoy the meal we had made, surrounded by the beauty of Tuscany with a glass of wine in hand, was one of those moments you want to bottle up and take home with you. We laughed, learned, ate incredibly well, drank wonderful wine, and made a memory we’ll be talking about long after this trip is over. If you’re visiting Tuscany and want an experience that goes beyond simply having another great meal, do this. Come hungry, enjoy the wine, and soak up every minute. Absolutely unforgettable. 🇮🇹🍷🍝
5Fantastic experience, not to be missed
We had a fantastic time at our cooking class with Giacomo and Cristina. Giacomo has such a great passion and knowledge about food - how important it is to use the best quality ingredients possible and how every little detail matters when you want to prepare the perfect dish. We would highly recommend one of his classes and we may go back for the big menu 😋
5Wonderful Tuscan experience
This cooking class was a highlight of our trip - we so enjoyed learning about the intricacies of making pasta and Tiramisu - it is a true art! Chef Giacomo is also a sommelier so we were able to enjoy the best wines with each dish - perfecto! This will be one of our favorite memories of Tuscany!!
5An absolute must!
We had such a wonderful experience with Giacomo and Cristiana! The cooking class was informative, so much fun, and filled with so much passion for Italian food and tradition. You could really feel how much they love sharing their family traditions and recipes with others while welcoming us into their home. We learned so much, laughed a lot, and had an unforgettable experience. The food was delicious, you can really tell quality ingredients go a long way. They will also take photos during class so you do not have to worry about capturing the memory and send them to you afterwards. We would absolutely recommend this class to anyone looking for a truly authentic and personal Italian experience and memories to last a lifetime!

About Montepulciano
Montepulciano is a Renaissance hill town in southern Tuscany, known for its Vino Nobile wine, cellars beneath the palaces and wide valley views.
Montepulciano climbs a ridge, its main street rising between Renaissance palaces and towers to the Piazza Grande at the top. The square is framed by the town hall, whose tower recalls Florence's Palazzo Vecchio, the cathedral and the Palazzo Contucci, and a well decorated with griffins and lions stands in the middle. Below the town, the Church of San Biagio, a Renaissance travertine church by Antonio da Sangallo the Elder, stands among cypresses.
