One thing is for sure: you don’t need any more food the rest of your day. So what are we going to do? Me or another enthusiastic, food loving tour guide will take you and the rest of the group on a three hour food journey through the city. We will walk and eat some of the food inside and eat others on the go. You can buy optional drinks at the restaurants we’re going to (one drink is included). During the tour you’ll receive some fun facts about Utrecht and the history of its food, but don’t expect a 3 hour history lesson from us. We talk, have fun, eat and drink. Eat with you soon!

About Utrecht

Utrecht is a Dutch university city of old canals with sunken wharf cellars, a soaring cathedral tower and museums from music boxes to Miffy.

Utrecht began as a Roman fort and has been a religious and trading centre ever since, and its heart is the Dom Tower, a 112-metre church tower that is the tallest in the Netherlands. The Oudegracht, the old canal, runs through the middle of the city with quays set below street level, and the cellars of the old warehouses along the water are now cafés and restaurants. The university, founded in 1636, fills the streets with students and bicycles.
