5Awesome Sea Kayaking Tour with Stunning Peninsular Views
Amazing full day sea kayaking tour, my wife and I came as part of our honeymoon and although the winds were rough which made for an intense day of kayaking, we had a great time and the views of the peninsula and wildlife (fur seals and even a sea eagle) were completely worth it! Everyone who loves kayaking should do this tour if you're in Hobart

Everything was well organised, weather was perfect, our guides were excellent and kind.
5Perfect way to experience Flinders Island
Great week on Flinders. Stunning place. Perfect way to experience it. Amazing paddling and snorkelling. Incredible variety of birds and fish. Great people and food. Sorrowful visit to Wybalenna. Lest we forget. Our guides Kai and Luke were a pleasure to paddle with and made the most of the place and conditions – very knowledgeable, helpful, likeable guys. Have also paddled South West and Tas Pen with Roaring 40s. Great operation 👌

5Tasman Peninsula kayaking day trip
Mischa and Luke were excellent guides, they were welcoming and friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging. The briefings delivered by Luke and Mischa were informative and clear, as were the instructions on the water. The wildlife - seals and albatross and view of the dolomite cliffs were stunning. Their local knowledge was appreciated. Lunch was tasty, hearty and very generous, enjoyed in a friendly atmosphere giving everyone an opportunity to engage in conversation. I would definitely consider booking another kayaking adventure with Roaring 40's under the leadership of Mischa and Luke.

About Port Arthur
Port Arthur is a former convict settlement on Tasmania's Tasman Peninsula, with ruined prison buildings among green lawns above a quiet bay.
Port Arthur stands on the Tasman Peninsula, south-east of Hobart, where a penal settlement operated between 1830 and 1877. Sandstone ruins of the penitentiary, a church without a roof, a model prison and officers' cottages stand among lawns and trees beside the bay. The site is part of the Australian Convict Sites World Heritage listing.
