During an easy excursion on extinct craters, you will see the unique landscape with different lava flows next to birch, oak and pine woods; we will proceed on foot in the innermost parts of old extinct craters, where walking on the edge you can admire a spectacular view. About Catania

Catania, on Sicily's east coast, is a black lava-stone city beneath Mount Etna, with a noisy fish market, Baroque squares and a long seafront.

Rebuilt in the eighteenth century in the Baroque style, it uses black lava stone for walls and paving, set against white limestone.
