About Almería

Almería is a sunny port city in south-eastern Spain, with a huge Moorish fortress, a fortified cathedral and a wild volcanic coast at Cabo de Gata.

Almería lies on a wide bay in Andalucía's far south-east, one of the sunniest and driest corners of Europe.
