About Ras Al Khaimah
Ras Al Khaimah is the UAE's northernmost emirate, where the Hajar Mountains meet the sea, with beaches, desert, mangroves and ancient forts.
Jebel Jais, the highest mountain in the United Arab Emirates, rises in jagged ridges above the coast, and a winding road climbs to viewpoints, hiking trails and one of the longest zip lines anywhere. The summit is noticeably cooler than the shore, making it a favourite escape in the warmer months.
Top-ranked sights in Ras Al Khaimah: Ras Al Khaimah National Museum, Dhayah Fort, Jebel Jais.
