Over approximately 25 minutes, the chairlift carries you to 1,125 feet (343 meters) above sea level. At the top, take your time. Walk around the mountaintop platforms and take in amazing 360° views across St. Maarten and the Caribbean, with plenty of opportunities for photos. On clear days, you may even see Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Barts and Anguilla on the horizon. And unlike the Flying Dutchman, there’s no need to race back down. When you're ready, board the Sky Explorer again for a relaxing ride down the mountain, enjoying the scenery from a different perspective. Back at historic Rockland Estate, visit the Emilio Wilson Museum and discover another side of the island through the history and traditions that shaped St. Maarten.
