  What an unforgettable trip. Our tour guide Aris really made the trip great. He was very knowledgeable and had excellent English. He is a local from Santorini and he brought us to a few hidden gems first that were just as good as the tourist spots!.

• 5Santorini in a private tour: Mr. Aris, a real professional tour guide that makes the difference!!

  Using Viator, we got Cyclades Shine Local Tour, and they send a driver named Mr. Aris, that gave us an excellent tour around Santorini in 4 hours, driving a pristine SUV... This tour guide is a seasoned professional with vast general culture and deep knowledge of historical, geographical and vulcanology, explaining to us the root causes of landscaping and the Santorini's way of living. This man makes the whole difference! Plenty of information but not boring, very precise giving instructions when we separate to meet a few hundred meters away because something interesting is near a pedestrian only way, and his passion for Santorini and his job was as contagious than the 4 hours looks like a half-hour friends conversation! We strongly recommend this if you want a private tour with a gentleman that does not guide you to places to spend money, and even didn't accept a cup of coffee when working! Mr. Aris is a Santorinian that was a real pleasure to meet and share a ride!!!!

  We did a private tour. Tasos, our guide, made sure we saw and did everything we wanted to see and do. He was responsive hours before the trip and gave clear directions for pick up. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

About Santorini

Santorini is a crescent of volcanic cliffs in the Aegean, where whitewashed villages and blue domes look over a flooded caldera to famous sunsets.

The island is the rim of an ancient volcano whose eruption left a vast caldera filled by the sea.
