By doing a tour at Santa Rita you will discover, close-up, Chile’s wine roots, the entire wine-making process, you will taste our best wines and take-in all the cultural heritage of the winery in Alto Jahuel. We are not only wine tours, besides, you could visit the Andean Museum with more than 3.000 pieces of the pre columbian art, walk through the centenary park where is located a beautiful neo-gothic church. Or just taste our plates at our a la carte restaurant, Dona Paula, which has been mentioned by specialized critics as the best restaurant outsider Santiago. The Premium tour is a walk through the vineyards and varietal garden plus the complete process of making, aging, and bottling the wine, as well as our 19th-century park, gardens, Romans baths, and chapel. Highlights: Neo-gothic chapel, Roman baths built in the late 1800s, historic cellars. Tasting: 3 Ultra Premium wines served with cheese, crackers & nuts.

4More of a tour of the grounds than a wine tasting
Booked the premium tour in English. The tour is largely a walk around the grounds with discussion regarding the founding family, the servants, and the house (now a small hotel), church and park with a more limited discussion of the vineyards and grape varieties grown. It ends in the barrel room, which is no longer used, and a somewhat perfunctory tasting of 4 wines. The grounds are very pretty and the restaurant, Dona Paula, was very good - recommend a terrace table if the weather is nice. I was very interested in visiting the museum, unfortunately it is closed on Mondays, which is noted in the museum's separate website but not on the ticket purchase. It was easy to set up an Uber from Santiago and back and significantly less expensive than setting up a reserved car or taxi.

Great tour! Very informative, beautiful, historical property. Mauricio is very knowledgeable and makes the tour both interesting and entertaining. Highly recommend it.

We took the Winery tour with Gate 1 Travel and it was a total delight. Jose, our young Tour guide was excellent....KUDOS to him and to the Santa Rita winery....totally pleased...
5Family visit to Santa Rita
The visit to Santa Rita was excellent, our Guide Mauricio made the visit very informative and shared a lot of the history of the vineyard. It was very interesting. The wine tasting was amazing and lunch in the hotel capped the visit off perfectly.

Learned about the great history of Chile and Chilean wines. Finished with a great tasting. Easy to get to via Uber from Santiago. Highly recommend for all of Santa Rita's offering.
5Worth every penny spent.
A great experience. Visit to the property with park and winery superb. Wines very good and good explanation from Victor our guide. At the end we had a fantastic lunch at Doña Paula Restaurant. great food harmonized with perfect wine by an experienced sommelier Javier.
