One of the world's most exclusive auction houses has witnessed many a scandal over the years. The neighbourhood is where Nell Gwyn one of the most famous mistresses of the Merry Monarch Charles 11 lived. Nell had a particular talent for money grabbing in all matters to do with the King. St Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Abbey anchor the older skyline, while glass towers crowd the financial district.
