The present museum building was constructed in 1900 in the neo-classical style by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon. The Museum exhibits collections that now exceed 120,000 objects ranging from the pre-historic era to the Greco-Roman period.

About Hurghada
Hurghada is a Red Sea resort town on Egypt's mainland coast, loved for its coral reefs, warm water, desert excursions and easy beach days.
