1REVIEW For TRAVEL SEARCH_GURU, not TRAVEL SEARCH, Punta Cana
I must tell you that I was completely unhappy with our transportation from the airport on Thursday, August 20th. The driver could not speak English, was not professionally dressed, had no water or beer in the van as advertised on your website, would not wait for our other party, the driver had to stop on the roadside to put water in the radiator, and the vehicle was in terrible condition. Overall horrible service and expectation. You are NOT a professional organization and should NOT be advertising as such.
5Amstar is Great
We have used Amstar on many trips , both to Punta Cana and Mexico. It is easy to book on-line and they monitor your flights. They remind you of any dates or times for pick up with a text. Some hotels have an Amstar representative on site.
1Scam in DR at the airport
The worst experience ever! I booked a week ahead of time & some... didn't realize that this company uses 3rd party taxis or vans to cover the airport... we landed & because it was raining & our hotel was on the end of the island... the 3rd party canceled our trip & left us stranded... I have video recordings & screenshots from another company that actually helped me & called me a transport... do not use this company... they take your money & then say dispute it with your credit card company... straight up a scam!
2Misdirection and poor follow up.
I had to call company to remind them of pickup. Couldn’t find record initially. Then limo was a beat up van, not like in ads. Appears to have given job to another company whose name was on the van
1Poor Communication and Wrong price
Poor Communication. We had no idea nor did they on how to find each other. Another major problem, price booked was not the correct price.
