일정
The Reina Sofía is Spain’s most important modern art gallery and one of Europe’s most relevant. If, for traditional art, you must visit The Prado Gallery, to understand art of the 20th century the Reina Sofía is essential. An entertaining tour, in a casual tone, which will allow to maintain concentration easily and which will be fun. At the same time you will receive accurate information of great historical detail, from official guides, who are mostly also art historians, with ample training. Starting from your hotel, the guide will accompany you to the gallery giving you various information about the streets you cross, history of the city or general history of The Prado Gallery. Once there, you won’t need to wait in line, but you will enter directly. During the guided tour you will have the opportunity to see and understand some of the most relevant works in the history of European contemporary art : Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Man Ray or Rene Magritte are just some of the most relevant artists of the gallery. Without doubt, maybe the most relevant work of modern history – Picasso’s Guernica – will be part of the tour. Of course, also you will have the opportunity to receive advice on the best tapas bars, restaurants, or recommendations on what you can do in Madrid (which is plenty). Pick up from the hotel After you have made the reservation, you will receive the contact details of your local guide, so there are no problems with the pick up. It’s important that you indicate in the reservation the name of the hotel where you are staying, or alternatively, that you would like to meet at the entrance of the gallery.
