Private jeep tour to the twin lakes and the crater of Sete Cidades. Visit places where others cannot go. Travel off road around the rim of the crater to visit one of the 7 natural wonders of Portugal. Customize your tour the way you want. We will visit the most important sites on the western end of the crater. We stop in the village to visit the Sao Nicolau church, go for a walk or just a simple coffee. This crater is a "must see" and should not be missed. In the afternoon we explore the central crater of Lagoa do Fogo. If you have any special requests our guide would be happy to hear about them.

5Wonderful way to see a beautiful country!
We saw the entire island in one day! Our guide was very knowledgeable and kind. We never felt rushed and it felt as though it was catered completely to our preferences.

Eduardo was our guide, he made the experience more fun and enjoyable. He made us feel comfortable and made us laugh. With all of this jet lag I was tried and he told me to drink the delta coffee and it woke me right up. I totally remind him!!

5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Two Unforgettable Days with Eduardo – The Best Choice on São Miguel!
If you are looking for the ultimate way to experience São Miguel, look no further than Eduardo with Greenzone Jeep Tours. We booked two separate private tours with him, and they were hands-down the highlights of our entire trip! Our first day took us on a rugged Jeep adventure to Nordeste. Eduardo brought us deep into the jungle, right to the mountain peaks for stunning views, and through some gorgeous parks. He was incredibly easy to talk to, highly knowledgeable, and let us explore completely at our own pace. For our second trip, we set out to see Lagoa do Fogo and Sete Cidades. Even though the morning started out with very fresh temperatures, Eduardo expertly tailored our itinerary around the weather to ensure we got the absolute best views and experience. Because of his local expertise and thoughtfulness, it turned into an absolutely perfect day. We had the time of our lives on both tours and couldn't have asked for a more wonderful guide. Mariano was an outstanding guide and a knowledgeable local that went the extra mile (literally). We did not follow the beaten track and took a very unique and different tour than we could've imagined. His shortcuts and his catering to our interests was best in class. Thank you, Mariano!
5Beautiful Sao Miguel
We, 2 couples, were warmly greeted by Eduardo from Greenzone Tours as we disembarked Celebrity Apex for a private tour shore excursion. Eduardo, a native Azorean was friendly, compassionate, eager to share his vast knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. We had a lovely and relaxing day exploring Sete Cidades, located on the western side of São Miguel Island. The views of the famous iconic Twin Lakes were beauty. We enjoyed a delicious traditional Portuguese lunch. We highly recommend spending your time exploring with Eduardo!
