Creation of the French painter Jacques Majorelle, who moved to Marrakech in 1917. He bought this land in 1923 to build his workshop and plant botanical species from all over the world. He opened the garden to the public in 1947. In 1937, the artist created this intense, cobalt and electric overseas blue "Le Bleu Majorelle" Left abandoned after the death of the painter, the garden was bought in 1980 by the French couturier Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Bergé. They save the site from a building complex project and completely restore it.

About Agadir

Agadir is Morocco's sunny Atlantic resort, with a long sandy bay, a palm-lined promenade and the High Atlas and the Souss Valley at its back.
