• 2Our Last Minute Tour Guide was Terrible

  Our tour guide Neszar, while very nice, knew absolutely nothing about Warsaw or it's history. We found that most of what he told us was untrue. Also the tour only lasted 90 minutes and was supposed to last 2 or 2.5 hours. I wrote to Viator to complain and heard nothing back. Hopefully other tour guides are better. Very disappointing.

• 5Perfect private tour experience!

  Booked this as a private tour for our family and it was worth every penny! Having our own guide meant we could move at our own pace and ask endless questions about Warsaw's fascinating history. The legends and stories brought the Old Town to life in ways we never expected. Our guide customized the route based on our interests and gave us excellent local tips. About Warsaw

Warsaw is Poland's capital on the Vistula River, a city carefully rebuilt after the Second World War, with a restored old town, palaces and modern towers.

Warsaw was almost entirely destroyed in the Second World War, and its Old Town was rebuilt brick by brick from paintings and plans, work that earned it a UNESCO listing. Castle Square, with the Royal Castle and Sigismund's Column, leads into the market square, where a mermaid, the city's symbol, stands guard. The Palace of Culture and Science, a Soviet-era skyscraper of 1955, still dominates the skyline.
