1. Not the oldest, not the largest but the most visited 17th century mosque of Istanbul got its nickname ( Blue Mosque ) from the ceramic tiles decorating the interior walls. We will visit interior to see beauty of tiles and stained glass windows which create a peaceful atmosphere inside.

It was built as a Christian Cathedral by Byzantine Empire in between 532 and 537 but in 1453, after the conquest of Istanbul it was converted into a mosque and 1935 opened as a museum.But since 2020 it has been an active mosque again.
