The Temple of Abydos (Seti I) in Sohag is one of the holiest sites in ancient Egypt, serving as the center of worship for Osiris and his gateway to the afterlife. Distinguished by its unique L-shaped design, the temple houses the famous "King List of Abydos," which chronicles the reigns of 76 kings, making it an invaluable historical resource. Behind the temple lies the enigmatic Osireion, an underground structure representing the mound of creation. About Luxor
Luxor stands on the site of ancient Thebes, with vast temples on the Nile's east bank and the royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings across the river.
