About Doha
Doha, Qatar's capital on the Gulf, pairs a crescent-shaped corniche and striking museums with a traditional souk, wooden dhows and desert dunes.
The Corniche curves along Doha Bay for kilometres, with views of the West Bay skyline and wooden dhows moored in the harbour. At its southern end, the Museum of Islamic Art, designed by I. M. Pei, rises from the water and holds treasures from across the Islamic world, with a waterfront park beside it.
