About Aberfeldy
Aberfeldy is a small town on the River Tay in Highland Perthshire, with a stone bridge by General Wade, a wooded glen and a nearby loch.
Aberfeldy stands on the south bank of the River Tay in Highland Perthshire, a small market town with grey stone houses and a pleasant main street. Wade's Bridge, a handsome stone bridge over the Tay, was built in 1733 as part of General Wade's military road network. A monument nearby recalls the Black Watch regiment, first mustered in this area in 1740.
