6. Laurissilva the famous Laurel Forest of Madeira the view over the old majestic forest that covers over 26 percent of the island. A photo stop is a must.

7. Our famous FanaL FOREST - when the clouds come in the forest becomes very mystic. Large old Laurel trees some of the vegetation is over 800 year old. Protected by Unesco, this forest delights all visitors. Please note this is a tour not a walk therfore the stop is only a photo stop.

8. Our drive through Ribeira da Janela to Porto moniz is of 25 minutes and a photo stop is important. This viewpoint where the (mini European Hawaii) can be seen, the north coast surrounded by the beautiful mountains, the window inside the scarp that gave the name to this point. When weather is clear you can see porto santo island.

9. Thsi village is very famous for the natural pools with normal sea temperature. If weather permits swimming is defintely a must. This is also our lunch break. There many restaurants and supermarket you can have lunch or a snack. In the winter the stop is of 1 and half hours. Due to the weather its cold to swim in the winter. In the summer we spend 2 hours. This stop does not include lunch nor snacks or entrance to the paid pools. There are 2 pools the natural free none paid pools and the paid pools.

10. Seixal - water fall attractions - véu da noiva Beautiful wine region. The slopes in the mountains all covered by vineyards, the rough sea through the north coast. Our drive to Seixal is of 15 miunutes and 15 miutes to see the beautiful waterfall and north coast.

11. Our beautiful north coast of Madeira know as the little Hawaii of Europe because of the high waves suitable for surfing lovers. The old foot paths and the beautiful little chappel is a must.

12. Our drive from the north to south through the village of Serra de Agua should take us about 35 minute to Funchal. Driving through our beautiful roads surrounded by the high mountains, high trees, pine, eucalyptus, mimosas, flowers alon the road like the agapanthus, hortensia.

About Funchal

Funchal is the capital of Madeira, a Portuguese island in the Atlantic, set on steep green hills with flower-filled gardens and a seafront old town.

Funchal spreads up a steep hillside above a natural harbour on Madeira's south coast. The old town, the Zona Velha, has narrow lanes with painted doors and small restaurants, and the cathedral dates from around 1500. The Mercado dos Lavradores sells tropical fruit, fish and flowers in a hall decorated with blue tiles. A cable car climbs from the harbourfront to Monte, high above.
