6. After visiting Parliament House, you will go to Humayun's Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the first garden tomb in India. It was built by Humayun's wife in his memory after his death. Alternatively, instead of Humayun's Tomb, you can visit the Akshardham Temple.

Nearby, to the east of Daryaganj, was the Raj Ghat Gate of the old walled city, which led to the western bank of the Yamuna River. Over time, the surrounding memorial area also came to be known as Raj Ghat.
