From there, we’ll head to my picturesque hometown of Mitla—surrounded by beautiful mountains and agave fields. There will be plenty of laughter and photo opportunities along the way. Afterward, we’ll visit our family distillery to see the production process step-by-step and witness the passion that goes into making it. We’ll wrap things up by tasting various types of mezcal accompanied by a delicious, authentic Oaxacan meal. Throughout the tour, I’ll be fully attentive to your needs; my goal is to make you feel right at home and ensure your mezcal journey becomes an unforgettable memory.

And, of course, there will be plenty of photo opportunities.

Oaxaca City is the colonial capital of Oaxaca state, a stone-built highland city of markets, mole, mezcal and Zapotec ruins nearby.

Oaxaca de Juárez sits in a high valley at about 1,500 metres, its centre built of pale green stone around a shaded zócalo.
